Please provide us some feedback to your webinar experience.
We are doing our best to serve the needs of the LPDC and save everyone the cost/stress of traveling to face-to-face meetings.
Please tell us what is working well and what could be areas for improvement!
Thank you for your help,
Lorie Owens on behalf of the Regional LPDC Support Team
I participated in the LPDC webinar on 1/26/11.
ReplyDeleteI really like being able to get information and participate from home. I have spent way too much time over the years driving to Columbus and other parts of the state for inservice. I would like to see ODE use this kind of technology much more it would save time and money.

I agree with Mike, continue with the webinars.
ReplyDeleteI am happy to see positive feedback for this.
ReplyDeleteWe need to be more sensitive to our stakeholders' needs and holding webinars is just smart business.
Of course, this Ohio winter certainly makes the case for less travel and more technology!
I have a question about administrator licenses. Will administrators still get a 2 year provisional upon completion of their degree programs? Does their program change at all with all these new licensure programs.
ReplyDeleteI appreciate the fact that I could participate in this webinar from my own home. It saves me time and money. I did not have any troubles logging on or connecting via the phone. The information that was able to be printed is very useful, and I will take it back to our committee.
ReplyDeleteThe webinar experience tonight (2/23/11) was a first for me -- I enjoyed it. Webinars are certainly less costly and time consuming in that we can participate from home. There will always be technological glitches, but beyond that, I think this was a good way to communicate information.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the webinar because I was able to stay home. Having the papers ahead of time was positive. The chat area was great, but the phone was distracting even after I did 1#. I just wish the ODE would know what they want before they ask us to do it. Like the unclear guidelines on the resident educator, they are the people that ask the most questions. Thank you for the meeting.
ReplyDeleteI participated in the LPDC Webinar on Thursday, March 3, 2011, @ 7:00 - 8:30 PM.
ReplyDeleteI really like being able to get information and participate from home! Thank you!! I would like to see ODE use this kind of technology much more for its convenience to participants and savings of time and money.
I attended the 3/9/11 webinar and found it easy and informative. I also found out new ways to gather info related to LPDC online and ways to get questions answered. I'll be sure to pass on the information to my committee!
ReplyDeleteI participated in the 3/15/11 webinar. I think that it went fairly well. One person had issues with their phone. I like the fact that I could participate in this information session without having to travel.
ReplyDeleteI hate to be a wet blanket, but honestly I felt it was disorganized and I did not gain as much information as I would have liked. I would like to have had some sort of powerpoint or slides that I could take back to my LPDC. I also wish I had more "proof" about some of these things that we are told are laws - like citations or copies of the laws, etc.
